David Lichtenstein, CEO of the Lightstone Group

David Lichtenstein is the Chief Executive Officer of the Lightstone Group that he founded in 1988. Lichtenstein directs all aspects of the acquisition, financing and management of a diverse portfolio of approximately 20,000 multi-family apartments and approximately 30 million square feet of office, lodging, retail and industrial properties located in 27 states, the District of Columbus and Puerto Rico.

The Lightstone Group ranks among the 25 largest real estate companies in the United States today.

Lichtenstein has served as Chairman of the Board of Directors and Chief Executive Officer of Lightstone Value-Plus Real Estate Investment Trust, Inc. (NYC) since 2005, Lightstone Value Plus REIT LLC, its advisor since 2005, and Lightstone Value-Plus Real Estate Investment Trust, Inc. II (NYC) since 2009. He is also on the Board of Directors of Turo College (NYC) since 2008.
